first trip to alaska. 2008

On August 15, 2024 I landed in Anchorage, Alaska to take a seven day Princess cruise from Whittier, Alaska to Vancouver, British Colombia. After spending two nights in Anchorage the cruise starts by cruising through Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay National Park on its way to Icy Strait, followed by stops in Juneau, and Ketchikan. I’ve been to Alaska several times before with my first trip being in 2008. It was a fishing trip with my Dad, two Uncles and my cousin. This was a family fishing trip. We flew in Anchorage and spent a couple of day river fish in Kenai and Soldotna, followed by a few days of deep sea fishing by Homer.
