BKCM Celebrates Holi!

On March 24, 2024 Brooklyn Conservatory of Music hosted BKCM celebrates Holi! I was very excited to witness and photograph the Hindu festival. Most of what I knew about this Festival of colors, love, and spring came though visuals I’ve seen in the photography world. There is a great episode of Netflix’s Tales of Light, season 1 episode 2 Himalaya, where Richard I’Anson photographs the festival in India.

My goal for the day was to get some cool photos and keeping my camera as clean as possible. At the end of the day and plastic bag and some rubber bands did the trick. Here is a selection of my favorite photographs from the day.
